mediation & counseling
After over two decades in Counseling and Somatic-Energy work with individuals and groups both locally and internationally, I have honed a wealth of experience into a practice of Mediation, Creative Conflict and Life Transitions Counseling. My mediation is Solution-focused, supports folks to actualize their inner brilliance precisely through the turbulent times. I am founder of the new generation of the Santa Fe Mediation Center.
Decades devoted to the practice of embodied consciousness, as practitioner and teacher, I currently bring this depth of experience in wondrous & effective collaborations to Creative Conflict teaching ad facilitation.
international teaching
My diverse workshops for advancing Human Potential have been received by clients and groups in numerous US states, as well as in Israel, Greece and Spain. Some titles include: “Living on Purpose”, “Power of Attention and Intention”. “The Witness and the Mover”, “The Intimate Self” and “Keeping up Intimacy.”
I have taught courses in dance, performance and embodied consciousness at colleges, universities and festivals, including san francisco state, naropa university, university of the arts (phl), seminar kibbutzim (israel), in addition to self-producing dance/performance workshops in both USA and abroad over 25 years.
As resident and collaborator at Deva Lands Sanctuary in NM for over 10 years, I served international clients and small groups with my self-developed method of Somatic Energy work, as well as through Counseling and ceremony.
professional dance
For over half of my life, a center-point was my career as a performing artist, with modern and post-modern dance in the foreground, as well as vocals and hand percussion. My extensive training & performing career spanned over three decades, and in the recent decades, I have continued teaching and training other dancers and performers.
Movement forms of mastery include Post-Modern dance and ashtanga Yoga, Authentic Movement and Contact Improvisation. Diverse other dance forms I have deepened into include: Classical Ballet, African dance, Argentinian Tango, Salsa, and middle eastern dance.
inter-cultural experience
an avid traveler, i spent more than a year in Southern Africa when i was 23 (largely in beloved Zimbabwe!), and have since had immersive and extended visits in Indonesia, Israel, Morocco, Egypt, Spain and Greece – participating in ritual, dance arts & performance, as well as offering various workshops and sessions in Self Realization, Source Kabala, and Somatic Energy Healing.
i am grateful to have collaborated performance with notables as: Arye Bursztyn and Yair Dalal in Israel, performance-ritual with Suprapto Suryodarma in Java, with Carlos Dall in Athens, Greece. And, i enjoy repeating the fun story that i indeed was choreographer for the first Ms.Zimbabwe competition, while also studying traditional drum/dance with Clayton Ndlovu in Harare. Much later, during a 3 month solo contemplative retreat in Bali, I had the honor to immerse in study of ancient temple chant from Ibu Made Tirta, and to lead prayer in the temple, in Tejakula.
ancient hebrew wisdom & kabala
in the lineage of Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi (z”l), i am ordained as the first “Omana’ya” (2006) and a Shaliakh of him. Through study of sacred text in the Ancient Hebrew language, i receive insight and compiled most of those teachings into a body of work titled: “Source Kabala.” I recorded original channeled melodies for ancient hebrew text in “How do I walk…& Bow Constantly”, a music album. Via my practice of Source Kabala, i am authoring a biblical novel revealing the story of the daughters of jerusalem.
Largely trained by discipleship within direct lineages, i offer deep gratitude for both early and recent mentors, some of whom are: ralph lemon, shelley senter, jon ingle, sarah shelton mann, audrey bookspan, susan glazer, janet adler, reb jack gabriel, reb zalman, reb ohad, reb nadya&victor gross, michael k travers, esq., jeannie kerrigan and ginny.
