earned a BA in Psychology/Education (1991) an MA in Interdisciplinary Arts (1999) with an emphasis on Community Building, and is ordained as the first “Omana’ya” (2006) and a Shaliakh in the lineage of Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi (z”l). She is also certified in Family Mediation.

Over three decades of professional work, Keren pioneered methods/programs in The Arts, Wellness, and Personal Development including:  SPEAKWELL skillful communications, Family Health Mediation, and  Life Transitions Counsel, Fertility For Real, as well as Movement Medicine Arts,  Somatic Manual Energy Work, and the Native Hebrew Spirit. 

Keren is currently authoring two novels: one a biblical-based fiction, and the other, a Memoir.  She is mothering twin tots and lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Dance, music, meditation and effective communications continue as life-style practices and devotions.

Communications/ Mediation/ Counseling

After over two decades offering Counseling and/or Somatic-Energy work to a broad base of clientele locally and internationally, Keren has honed that wealth of experience offering certified Family Mediation and Life Transitions Counsel. She trained extensively with Clare Fowler, James Melamed and has been mentored by Michael K Travers, Jr.

Her unique Family Health Mediation services support folks to actualize a Brilliance of their potential precisely through the turbulent times. She is currently Principal of the Santa Fe Mediation Center.

Keren is a seasoned professional performing artist, with modern and post-modern dance in the foreground, met also with vocals and hand percussion.

Her training and performing career spans through the early decades of her life, and in the recent one, a focus on teaching and training other dancers/performers has been primary. Her extensive training & dance expertise is primarily in Post-Modern dance for performance, while also includes a wide range of Classical Ballet to Yoga, Authentic Movement to Contact Improvisation, African to Salsa & Argentinian Tango.

Keren holds an MA in interdisciplinary art from San Francisco State University and has taught courses in dance, performance and embodied consciousness at numerous colleges, universities and festivals, including san francisco state, naropa university, university of the arts (phl), seminar kibbutzim (israel), in addition to self-producing dance/performance workshops in USA and abroad, regularly, over 25 years.

Her Somatic Manual Energy Sessions, Life Transitions Counsel, and self- advancement workshop teachings have been received by clients nationally since 2006, in numerous US states, as well as in Israel, Greece and Spain.

A resident and collaborator at Deva Lands Sanctuary for over 10 years, Keren served hundreds of private clients, many visiting from overseas, who were on retreat for self reflection, self-advancement and inner connection, thus developing fresh ideas and tools to be their Brilliance.

inter-cultural experience

Keren has traveled extensively – including Southern Africa (beloved Zimbabwe!), Indonesia, Israel, Morocco, Egypt, Spain and Greece – participating in ritual, dance arts & performance, as well as offering her various programs for self advancement.

She has collaborated performance with notables as: Arye Bursztyn and Yair Dalal in Israel, performance-ritual with Suprapto Suryodarma in Java, with Carlos Dall in Athens, Greece. Keren, in fact, choreographed the first Ms.Zimbabwe competition, while also studying traditional drum/dance with Clayton Ndlovu in Harare. In 3 month solo contemplative retreat in Bali, she as well studied in-depth ancient temple chanting from ibu made tirta in Tejakula.

Keren is ordained as the first “Omana’ya” (2006) and a Shaliakh in the lineage of Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi (z”l).She studies directly with Ancient Hebrew sacred text and receives understanding- that is, her unique “Source Kabala“- in order to provide medicine, further wisdom and learn/teach universal principles. Founder of the Native Hebrew Spirit Path, her study of ancient text, often yields new melody. Keren has recorded some of those original songs on  “How do I walk…&bow constantly”, available on CDBABY.

Via Source Kabala, Keren is also currently authoring a biblical novel, stories drawn directly from in-depth study on a few powerful chapters of Hebrew Bible.
