Child Care Training

Keren provides direct mentoring and an Attentive ChildCare Certification for teens who have demonstrated

  • a willingness to develop their attention skills
  • an interest to learn both what their strong-suits are and where they can grow
  • a love for guiding children
  • a value for accountability and service to others

The format for training includes

  • direct mentoring conversations with keren throughout the training period
  • written assignments and written feedback
  • child care in keren’s home for up to 3 young children at a time with supervision
  • upon completion, and Attentive ChildCare Certification from Be Brilliance Llc, and, a written reference as well as approval for placement on a CV.
  • a 3-5 month training period (TBD upon acceptance as Trainee) and a schedule of child care with supervision hours, mentoring dialogue agreements, and supplement (based on age and developmental stage) of $5-8 per hour of child care practicum times.

  2. Some detail of your life context: school? other jobs? hobbies? home-base with family, friend?
  3. what are the best things you have already learned regarding attentive child care?… and list the next items you are eager to learn and improve on.
  4. what kind of time do you hope to commit to your mentoring, ideally ? number of months and days/week and amount of hours.
  5. a conclusion that demonstrates you have serious interest and hope to be considered for a video interview to further the process.

 

 

Conflict Resolution Coaching

Specifically for youth dealing with the intensity of peer provocation and cliques, as well as navigating the numbers of authorities they are asked to respond to.

Keren provides both

PERSPECTIVES…

  • how do you place your SELF in the community of peers and higher-ups?
  • What is your true nature?
  • What do you value?
  • What are your intentions?
  • How do inner-landscapes and outer-landscapes intersect?
  • How can you be Authentic while being crafted in your communications?

…AND, TOOLS 

  • Step aside from conflict that is not in your arena
  • Swiping energy onward from conflict that is provocative and piercing
  • How to be responsive over re-active
  • How to protect without promoting escalation
  • De-escalation Methods
  • Effective and Skillful communicating

Fees

fees for this training are shared by both parent(s) and youth participant. sliding scale for parents (based on income level) is $40-60 per contact hour, plus, barter of services contribution from the youth.
